My main guitar tone tool. It’s an amazing digital processor that models guitars and other string instruments, amps and more. There’s also an incredible amount effects processing onboard.
A super MIDI controller that works seamlessly with the VG-99.

Gibson/Oberheim Echoplex Digital Pro
My main looping device. Discontinued by Gibson in 2008.
The looper I use on smaller gigs.
Tom “TV” Jones makes the best OEM and replacement pickups for Gretsch Guitars. He’s also a fine guitar designer and builder. I played on many of the sound clips on the site.
Portland-based luthier Saul Koll makes great guitars.
Great-sounding and affordable hand-built tube guitar amps.
